Event: Beauty Africa Exhibition & Conference
Venue: Landmark Center
Dates 6-8 October 2016
Before I get to it, please take a minute to appreciate how well I colored my extensions...
All done? Alright, let's proceed 💃🏻
So, I happened to be in Lagos during the beauty expo in October. I know it has been weeks since it took place and I would've blogged my experience earlier on but I literally couldn't due to technical difficulties. Basically, my macbook stopped working, I took it to SLOT (supposedly Nigeria's Best Buy 😶) , they said they could fix it but they didn't. Instead they stole my parts, so that when my laptop was taken to the apple store in London, they said it would cost more to fix than to get a new one. So I did, but that took a few weeks, since I had to figure out the logistics. I'm still trying to figure out a way to make SLOT pay, but until then...
Back to the event! Better late than never, right ?
A friend of mine, the owner of BathKandy had a stall at the event so I promised I'd show up and take some pictures! It turned out to be a fun event and a great networking opportunity. It was inspiring to see different quality brands made in Nigeria. I'll probably be at the event next year. Hopefully as a vendor not a spectator. Stay tuned to ATTICS to find out what the product is 😌
If you haven't visited the BathKandy Store, you might underestimate the effectiveness of this sign. The store smells like a bakery, not in an overpowering way but in an enticing, makes you want to buy everything way! Do yourself a favor and stop by when next you're in Lekki. I won't have to remind you to thank me later if you do.
Did you know I'm a photographer? I've been developing my skills in this area for about 10 years now.. I didn't even realize it has been that long.
With Ifeyinwa Ojekwe, CEO of the natural skincare brand, Ajali .
