Comfortable, Seamless, Versatile...these are a few words which describe the perfect outfit to me and that's pretty much how I feel about this look. I like the occasional bodycon dress, mostly for a night out but in general I'm not a fan of clingy clothes. The cropped top I'm wearing here is not only spring-appropriate, but its loose and thats what I like most about it. It took me a while to get used to skinny jeans; Once I did, I never looked back but that's not the point. The point is, even with skinny jeans, I'm most likely to wear a loose t-shirt. I love the fitted tee look, just not on me. It may or not be because I have what's often referred to as a ''full bust"👀 which sometimes looks exaggerated on my small rame, so I try not to draw additional attention to it.
Moving on to peg leg trousers!! My absolute fave!! They're high-waisted, sophisticated and chic. I'm a sucker for the way they fit, the fact that my soccer calves fit comfortably in them and how lean they make my legs look. If you don't already have a pair, trust me, you need one. You can find them at ASOS, Topshop and other similar stores.
The metallic pink mules from ASOS is the next key piece of this perfect look. It's funny how I almost sent these back (online shopping) out of anger because they weren't what I ordered. But alas, I'm glad I kept them. I wear them often; to church, out clubbing, on dates, you name it. Did I mention they're comfortable? I ordered the exact same pair in neon yellow and for whatever reason, they're not as comfortable. So I lucked out with these pink babies, a true blessing in disguise😏
Last but not least, the Chanel 2.55. There isn't much to say here, it's a classic and a great investment.
Ideally i'll wear this outfit out on a date/lunch/brunch somewhere similar.
