Off-the-shoulder x Monochrome

Updated: Jul 27, 2019

Hi my loves,

I know this is not the post y'all have been waiting for but please bear with me! I'm still editing pictures from the proposal. The posts (HINT) will be up soon!

Welcome back to the ATTICSphere! Before I get into today's post, I'd like to say thank you for reading, commenting and sharing this page. The interaction makes this whole process more fun.

Today's look is all about the monochrome trend. I've paired a light blue off shoulder blouse with a distressed denim mini skirt. I'm not actually wearing them in any of the pictures but my favorite pair of sunglasses from RAEN also made the cut when I put the look together.

I love wearing heels and even though this was a casual look I paired it with some heavily embellished strappy sandal heels from Schutz. In my arms, I have the Alexander Wang Brenda Bag. This was one of the first designer bags I ever bought after the LV speedy. It's not great for petite girls because the strap is pretty long and you'd have to wear it as a clutch, like I am in these pictures. Unless of course you like awkwardly long bags hitting your legs while walking.

I really like this look but it's not something I'd wear everyday, especially in Nigeria where people are super conservative and will question my upbringing due to the length of my skirt.

Sunglasses - RAEN OPTICS

All together I had a good time shooting with my friend Chinwe. These pictures were taken at her hotel. I hope you like the outcome and that you try this look or a variation of it at home!
