REVIEW || Saffron Cafe Abuja

Saffron café as the name suggests is a café and restaurant located at house 43 in Abuja. House 43 is basically a house which has been turned into a group of restaurants. Saffron is one of my favorite places to eat in Abuja because they’re consistent and appropriately priced.

They have pastries, milkshakes, burgers and a wide variety of drinks but the main reason you’ll catch me at saffron is because Im craving a couple of their pasta dishes.

  1. The arrabiata – typically penne (but ive also had it with spaghetti) in spicy tomato sauce with a generous portion of chicken strips

2. The carbonara – pasta tossed in a creamy sauced with bacon and egg bits

These are my favorite things to order whenever I go to saffron café. The experience there is pretty hassle free and my lawd, they are consistent. I found that the in restaurant experience was the same and the food didn’t disappoint so I decided to try it out for delivery. I ordered the same dishes a couple of time for delivery to my house and nothing changed. The portions were just as generous and where I asked for it, I got chilli flakes or extra cheese on the side. So if you have not tried this place out yet and you’re looking for a new spot in Abuja, Saffron café is bae.
